Learning Point Associates seeks a highly motivated, independent Accounting Manager to join our Business Services office. This key position will require strong accounting and management skills. This position is located in our Naperville, Illinois office and will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
• Perform month-end and year-end closings
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Supervise accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing personnel
• Prepare schedules and coordinate efforts for the annual audit, tax return, and federal indirect cost proposal
• Perform cash planning and forecasting
• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in a related field and CPA
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in accounting with GL, AP, AR, payroll; minimum of one year experience in a professional services or project-based company
• Experience with project-based software required; Costpoint preferred
• Experience with report-writing software required; Cognos preferred
• Supervisory experience
