Electronics Manufacturer is seeking a Business Development Manager.
Previous experience in sales of specialty circuit boards, flex assemblies, box builds, wire harnesses and cables using components in the electronics, electrical, or RF industries is desired. Ideal candidate will have experience selling in the aerospace, commercial, industrial, medical, military and telecommunication markets.
Candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing customers primarily from the Midwest that fit the customer profile meeting our unique capabilities. Candidate must be professional, motivated, organized and have the ability to work with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance in the fast paced environment. Most importantly, the candidate must be able to bring in the "Big" order. Must have general knowledge of manufacturing processes and of PCB assembly costing methods.
Candidate will be the primary liaison with the customer concerning quotes, order entry, new production, and product delivery.
Essential Functions:
Account identification and prospecting within defined markets.
Active participation in the quote phase, ensuring proper drawings, price targets and logistic requirements from customers is identified to provide accurate and competitive quotes.
Support opportunities initiated by RSMs and Manufacturers reps, but are outside primary assigned territory.
In conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Business Unit Manager, develop sales forecasts and sales plans to meet sales goals.

Job Requirements:
EE, ME, or RF Engineering Background a plus.
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and particulary Excel.
Project Management experience is a plus.
Reside in the Chicago / Metro Area.
