Newly created addition to staff within a fast paced and growing insurance carrier. This group underwriter will join an
existing team and be involved in both new business and renewal accounts that will range in size from 100 lives up to 2000
lives. This person will be experienced in working with alternate funding arrangements and have the marketing presence and communication skills to be out on client visits or in be a part of the consulting or brokerage team that deals with clients directly. The coverages will include medical, life, disability, and other anscillary product lines. This person will have a solid technical foundation in underwriting and be ready for development in the area of clients and brokerage relationships. The ideal person would be strong in the technical arena and very outgoing and social. The ability to become a member of a young team of top notch professional underwriters and to become a leader within this carrier is also required.
Requirements:
college degree, 2+ years of group underwriting experience, industry course work a big plus.
