11625 IMAGING INFORMATICS ASSOCIATE 0784 Job Code: 0784 Department: 11625 RADIOLOGY ADMINISTRATION Pay Grade: 39 Schedule: Full Time Shift: DAYS Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00PM Job Details: * Position Summary: The Imaging Informatics Associate oversees data integrity issues within all Imaging information Systems, including GE Centricity PACS, RIS-IC (IDXRAD), Talk Technology, DMS, ProSolv, Siemens Syngo PACS, MacLab, MUSE and other web based LUHS information technology systems. Works closely with physicians, technologists and other staff to assist in the availability of all Imaging Applications to the enterprise. Monitors workstations for adherence to quality control standards including the integrity of viewing monitors. Makes minor repairs as needed, monitors and performs systems support under the supervision of the Imaging Informatics Director. Participates in quality improvement activities, and assists department staff, physicians and patients with training and systems issues, including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, prefetching and other related activities.
Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Required: Associates Degree Preferred: Bachelors Degree Minimum Experience: Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience Minimum Experience Details: Experience in an Imaging department setting or in an Information Technology setting specific to Imaging Informatics systems.
Position Responsibilities: Prepares and implements quality assurance procedures to ensure prompt delivery of images to requestors through all Imaging Informatics systems. Communicates with physicians and staff, handles problems or refers problems to Imaging Informatics Assistant Manager or Director, or Administrative Director. Prepares/monitors all required Imaging Informatics Services Quality Control, Quality Assurance Projects, Processes. Performs all Imaging Services and Imaging Management Assistant duties as required. Maintains competence of staff and provides training as required throughout LUHS. Maintains environmental safety by observing fire, safety and departmental regulations.
