ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We are seeking anAccount Executive, for the Corporate, Legal, & Tax division, to sell BNA's news services products to new and existing BNA customers in the assigned district. The Account Executive will also develop prospecting strategies to gain and grow new business in the designated territory with the goal to meet or exceed sales quota. This is a home-based position working with a remote team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prospecting for new clients and new referral sources utilizing the online resources, current client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by sales management.
* Plan, develop, and manage BNA business in assigned district, selling BNA's product line to tax, law, and accounting firms; and to tax, accounting, legal, and finance departments of corporations
* Develop and conduct a solution-based sales presentation to prospective customers which includes the benefits to the user and organization and the advantages of BNA services over competitive products.
* Perform post-sales calls to ensure customer awareness, satisfaction, and the proper use of BNA products and services.
* Regularly contact existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and use of BNA services;
* Offer BNA training and identify potential new business opportunities;
* Develop and maintain knowledge of BNA products, services, and offerings, and competitive activity in the accounts; and communicate market and industry intelligence to sales management and appropriate business units.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's in business, marketing or related field.
* 3+ years' experience in consultative, transactional sales
* Demonstrated history of successful B2B sales with documentation supporting results
* Strong prospecting skills and the ability to develop net new business
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability manage a sales district over time
* Strong presentation skills; excellent written communications skills; strong analytical and math skills; and, top notch customer relations skills
* Ability to grasp technical competencies and thorough understanding of electronic research
* Flexibility for overnight travel and travel to BNA meetings and customer locations.
* Home office adequate for handling administrative-related job functions.
Base salary plus commission and performance-based bonus.
