CNC Programmer / Machinist / Operator
CNC Programmer/Machinist/Operator Job responsibility includes programming, set up and operation of machine tools (lathes and mills) to tight tolerances. May require modification or improvising tooling and gauging to complete assignments. Must have the ability to inspect work using such equipment as micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers, etc. as required to assure compliance. Work pieces may include a broad range of materials (Stainless steels, Carbon steels, High temperature alloys, etc.). CNC controls from Fanuc, OSP, Fagor, AllenBradley. Machine types include Vertical and Horizontal Mills along with Vertical and Horizontal lathes.
Requirements:
Requirements: Ability to read and interpret GD&T and complex engineering drawings Be able to work jointly with other production personnel in a team environment as well as be able to work independently to meet customer demands. Have demonstrated mechanical aptitude. A positive attitude toward work and other people, and strive to maintain high personal productivity. The ability to lift 40 lbs., operate lift trucks and overhead hoists. High school diploma or GED. Associates degree or trade school not required but a plus. Working knowledge of shop trigonometry. Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience. High degree of mechanical ability and machine expertise. Strong computer skills are preferred. Be able to stand/walk for a duration of a minimum 8 hour shift.
