Computer Programmer
STATS LLC is searching for a software developer with 4-6 years’ experience. We are the leader in providing sports information, stories, photos and audio content to media companies (internet, television, wireless, print), teams, game companies, etc. Our customers include, among others, FoxSports, ESPN, Yahoo!, CBS Sports, Google, The Associated Press and numerous professional teams.
Job duties will include development and maintenance of new products, including everything from real-time database updates to statistical database loads to creating frontend display of sports data.
A heavy emphasis in this job will be on data manipulation, extraction and back-end processing in an Oracle database or SQL Server database.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative and self-motivated. A degree in computer science is desired.
Required skills include the following:
- .NET
- PL/SQL working with Oracle and SQL Server
- IIS, SQL Server Integration Services
- Microsoft Entity Framework
- Microsoft WCF Data Services
- ODATA, WIF, WCF, LINQ
Experience with web security and the following is a plus:
- Federated Authentication
- Secure Token Service (STS)
- Claims-based security
- SSL certificates
Interest in professional or college sports is highly beneficial. We have multiple positions available and some will require regular night and/or weekend work.
