Design Director - Emerging Technology
The Director of Emerging Technology Design will be responsible for the overall creative supervision of projects being managed by the Strategy and Emerging Businesses team. He or she will collaborate with the Executive Vice President of the Strategy and Emerging Businesses team to translate the vision of projects under management into compelling and engaging consumer experiences that can be prototyped, demonstrated and tested. The goal will be identifying, testing and developing projects that have the potential to grow into meaningful businesses and the Director of Emerging Technology Design will be responsible for managing design and user experience elements throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities:
1. Establish creative vision and user experience for projects under management
2. Conduct research and analysis to empirically guide efforts in a direction that makes strong business sense
3. Account for monetization opportunities as part of an engaging user experience
4. Manage the creative elements of prototypes used to test concepts
5. Own the process of developing demos and presentations that will allow the Strategy and Emerging Businesses team to share ideas with others
6. Partner with the Director of Emerging Technology Development to ensure technical direction around projects under management are well aligned with creative elements
