We currently have a great opportunity available for a Director of Service Systems to join our office located in Mundelein, IL. The Director of Service Systems will be responsible for the development and implementation of applications and systems that improve and expand our service offerings to our customers and our Field Service Associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Proven software development and implementation skills including software requirements gathering, application design, implementation of new systems and support of existing service systems * Work with Service Organization to redesign the existing corporate business support application * Evaluate existing remote access technology and systems to increase their functional value to the customer and the Field Service Organization * Act as managing director of the re-design and implementation of the field service management CRM system * Work with other service directors to gather business requirements and ensure the re-design meets existing and future demands of the field service organization * Develop roadmap of internal support technology and applications for the Sysmex Americas Field Service Organization * Develop roadmap of applications and support technology that provide additional value to our hospital and laboratory customers; key focus will be identifying and implementing technology and systems that add value to Sysmex technology products from a customers perspective * Bring best practices for development and implementation for systems technology and services ensuring processes and tools are improved to ensure that rollouts are smooth and met functional intent of system * Design and implement new custom applications which improve and expand our offerings to our customers as well as provide new improved services to our field service engineers
Requirements:
Qualified Candidate Criteria:
* BS degree in computer science, engineering, business of other related disciplines; Masters degree preferred. * Minimum of 8-15 years in software develop and customer support systems * Knowledge of infrastructure systems and technology will be key; system and application design, development and implementation will be core * Deep proven knowledge of Software development Life Cycle for packaged application and customer software development * Technology Visionary for new systems and technology that drive additional value for our customers and service engineers * Strong communication and teaming skills * Knowledge of Field Service Business Model; Metrix Commercial Software Package Knowledge beneficial * Knowledge of technical support call center processes, systems, business drivers beneficial
