We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in the Elgin, IL area.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for Local Control and VFD panels. This individual will also be responsible for the programming and check-out/validation of these units for start-ups within the Dairy, Beverage and Oil Markets.
Major Duties:
Panel check-out, debugging and programming of PLC and VFD
Will be involved in new applications, new machines or special processes
Has AUTOCAD experience
Liaison with customer (on site, as necessary)
Design Control Panels based on PID’s and customer specifications.
Provide technical training to customers for proper operation and maintenance of Control Panels

Requirements:
Electrical Engineering Degree
Excellent communication and time management skills a must
Ability to work independently and handle multiple on-going projects
Complete understanding and proficiency of programming, PLCs, VFDs for all Allen Bradley Software Platforms, (Control Logixs, Factory Talk View etc), and the ability to demonstrate this knowledge
