Job Summary: . Abstracting county records for residential properties in multiple counties . Examination of title to real property, ranging in complexity, to determine status and to establish chain of title . Performs title examination of complex and/or difficult title orders requiring a moderate level of expertise . Review title search reports and their documentation in a timely and thorough manner . Verify that the information in the title search and accompanying documentation is accurate and complete so they can provide accurate title information to client data base . Resolve any issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the title documentation . Abstract and analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations, and other applicable instruments . Verifying ownership and encumbrances of real property . Preparing professional reports as required . Reviewing reports for accuracy Job Qualifications . College degree required. . Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner . General PC Proficiency; Microsoft Office Suite; Internet Explorer; etc. .
