FABRICATORS NEEDED!!
Knaack Manufacturing in Crystal Lake is seeking Fabrication Machine Operators for their second (2nd) shift. Knaack is a manufacturer of jobsite storage boxes for the construction industries and Weather Guard equipment for trucks and vans.

Immediate Benefits Available with a FULL BENEFITS package offered upon hire. If you have at least 6 months of fabrication or metal machine operation experience, can work on a nod shift and up to 60 hours/week, and have strong ruler read skills, this position could be for you!
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Setup and operate press brake machine - making adjustments to the program
Check all fluid levels and maintain weekly
Read from blueprints and make setups from blueprints and work specs
Use test instruments such as steel rule, caliper, and micrometer
Label all parts produced
Maintain inventory of machine parts and tooling
Rotate stock
Assist purchasing department as needed
Requirements:
FABRICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants need a minimum of 6-12 months experience setting up and/or operating:
Punch Press
Turret Press
Brake Press
Roboformers
Pivatic Machines
Metal Fabrication equipment
Additional requirements:
Ability to work a 2nd shift - 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM - Monday through Thursday
Ability to work overtime on Friday and Saturdays - up to 60 hours/week
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand during a 10 hour shift
Strong math, ruler reading, and comprehension skills
