Job Description : Responsible for customs and export trade control compliance of all supply chain activities: function as an expert for area personnel. • Develop and implement import-export processes, policies and programs, with an emphasis on improving service to the organization. • Monitor import-export activities for trade compliance, efficiency, and timeliness. • Monitor customs brokers and various service providers; ensure compliance functions are in place and regular audits are conducted. • Keep abreast of all customs and export control developments and communicate their impact to stakeholders. •Document and report non-conformance and provide/oversee preventive and/or corrective actions. •Develop extensive relationships with internal and external parties to help facilitate regulatory affairs. •Ensure all import and export classification codes are correctly applied to products. •Monitor trade compliance services and systems/interfaces to ensure efficient functionality is maintained and continuously improved. •Ensure export operations are compliant with US Export Administration Regulations. •Have advanced level knowledge in supply chain sourcing and security (C- TPAT). •Advanced knowledge of trade preference programs, specifically NAFTA and GSP. •Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs related to import and export transactions; the application of Free Trade Agreements, FTZ's, cross-border optimization/duty avoidance, and Duty Drawback. Job Requirements : helors degree international business, logistics, transportation or business-related discipline. 2.8+ years relevant work experience. or supervisory experience. ellent knowledge of US Customs Regulations, EAR and ITAR. onstrated project management skills. 6.
