Summary:
The Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager for Channel Mapping conducts channel partner needs and segmentation analysis to support the development and ongoing management of Panduit’s channel partner strategy and programs.  

Responsibilities:
·           Conduct primary and secondary market research to (a) identify and profile channel partners by size, vertical, products, solutions etc., (b) visit countries in emerging markets to validate research, and (c) support local field sales team in channel mapping process·           Through primary and secondary research, provide for the analysis and insights of existing partners, identify new potential partners, and develop analytical models to estimate partner’s “wallet size” for Panduit addressable products and solutions·           Track and analyze strategic channel partners including their strategy, financials and products/ solutions at a global and regional level to support Panduit’s product, solutions and alliance strategies globally·           Proactively build and maintain a global database of detailed channel partners at the sales territory level·           Analyze internal channel partner databases to cross-sell new and existing products/ solutions·           Provide targeted channel partner lists to support Large Corporate Account (LCA) and Mid-Market focused programs to achieve specific revenue objectives·           Generate partner mailing lists for marketing, promotional and brand awareness campaigns·           Support field sales partner program rollouts and channel mapping activities 

Skills, Training, Experience Required:
·           Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering with an MBA in Marketing, Finance or Strategy ·           10+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate strategic marketing or management consulting role focused on customer/channel analytics and database mining·           Capable of understanding the big picture and the strategic context while engaging in market research·           Strong analysis/ decision making skills: Able to synthesize large amounts of data into business insights and the “so what”·           Software & database skills: Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; Working knowledge of Database management analytics tools such as MS Access, SPSS etc.·           Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization·           Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and driving change
