Paladin has an ongoing contract that has the possibility of going perm for a Jr. to mid-level eCommerce Marketing Specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a fun team and advance your skills with rolling out new initiatives!
This client is looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience. The right candidate will be skilled in execution on online initiatives and helping throughout the process. Here will be opportunities t be involved in more strategy down the road. Our client would ideally like to see candidates who posses a mix of tasks they have been involved in for integrated campaigns preferable within a digital environment.
Location: Candidate can work in Northern Suburbs or in city. Client is flexible.
Pay Rate: commensurate with experience
Start Date: ASAP or within 2 weeks of notice.
Full Time – 40 hours per week. Overtime is time and a half

Job Summary:
The eCommerce Marketing Specialist supports the Ecommerce department by producing effective and compelling marketing campaigns aimed at driving against a specific set of business objectives, as determined by the Marketing Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Works closely with Marketing Manager and internal client team to understand designated areas of business in order to identify and implement the best marketing methods and tactics for driving business objectives and marketing goals.
Collaborates with internal and external creative teams and agencies to manage the creation of various marketing assets to support campaigns, including but not limited to email and site banners, landing pages, offline/store marketing collateral and support, social media and PR to ensure a cohesive marketing plan/look/feel.
Establishes and maintains a promotion calendar for 1 division of the online business area of the website.
Writes marketing briefs to communicate the overall objective, strategies and tactics desired to support specific marketing campaigns.
Uses Omniture to help understanding performance of client website on-site and email channels. Report on and develop plans based on findings.
Establishes a competitor list and maintains a schedule of their promotions by signing up for emails and doing periodic site audits. Report on trends.
Collaborates with email, search, SEO, affiliate, social media and mobile channels to develop promotion ideas, optimization ideas and other strategies to drive photo business
Brainstorms innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years’ experience in marketing
Experience managing more than one project simultaneously
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience working in a dynamic environment.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office 2003 or later: Word (for example: creating and modifying text styles, numbering and sorting lists, working with sections and columns, formatting tables, and using templates and using diagrams and drawing tools), Excel (for example: formatting text and borders of cells, working with workbooks and worksheets, using range names, referencing cells, sorting, and auto filtering) and PowerPoint (for example: creating presentations, adding and removing slides, entering and formatting text, applying design templates, modifying masters, inserting graphics and objects, creating handouts).
Willingness to work in the Chicago (city) and North Suburb (Metra accessible) locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or Business Administration
Experience working in an E-Commerce or digital marketing environment
At least 2 years online and/or promotional marketing experience
Email marketing, shopper marketing and/or mobile marketing experience a plus
Knowledge of Omniture and/or JIRA
