Mechanical Engineer, SolidWorks & AutoCAD - DesignBulk Material Handling Systems - Screw conveyors, Drag Conveyors or Bucket Elevators.
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings efficiently based on their analysis of the contract documents provided and customer approval. Candidate will work with the sales, procurement and manufacturing departments as well as the customer to ensure that the product is to specification. Additionally, the candidate should be able to troubleshoot design problems and come up with feasible solutions to problems that may arise. The ideal candidate will "think outside of the box" and have good problem solving skills and will not require constant direction from superiors on how to address issues that they arise.
Use of the applications computer system and manual calculations will be required to determine equipment sizes, deflections and drive information. Bills of Materials will be prepared on the drawings to accurately describe to customer and manufacturing what is required to provide the proper piece of equipment for the application. On occasion, it will be necessary to check drawings prepared by others.
