* Escorting patients to exam rooms, completing a brief history and obtaining vital signs.
* Updating the patient's medical record for provider review.
* Organizing and preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, safe, and well stocked environment.
* Updating medication lists, filing, prior authorizations for refill requests.
* Maintaining patient flow to ensure a seamless customer experience. General Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent.
* Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through one year of progressively responsible experience as a medical assistant.
* CPR Certified or obtained within 6 months of hire.
* Proficient computer skills. Desired Qualifications * One year working in a clinic setting is preferred.
* Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
