Mandate
Provide support to Mortgage Operations for all project initiatives, including, but not limited to, changes and upgrades to the Mortgage Operation loan origination system, process improvement initiatives, Microsoft Office applications upgrades and Regulatory/Corporate Compliance audits. This position will also act as a junior project manager supporting the Senior Manager with company wide initiatives that impact Mortgage Operations. Furthermore, the position will assist the Director of Mortgage Operations with general office management, and miscellaneous operational support for all of Mortgage Operations.
Key Accountabilities
Project plan development/execution Assist in the development of project plans With limited oversight, assist in the execution of project plan tasks Accurately complete assignments according to guidelines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Notify manager immediately of issues and projects that may require delegation of daily tasks Project plan development/execution Assist in the development of project plans With limited oversight, assist in the execution of project plan tasks Accurately complete assignments according to guidelines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Notify manager immediately of issues and projects that may require delegation of daily tasks Notify manager of roadblocks to meeting deadlines Prepare Project reports Document project status as required Prepare spreadsheets, documents, matrices as requested Document and communicate decision and issues to the Project Manager Analyze Data Utilize data provided by the Operations Controls Analyst and external business units to assist in the execution of a project's goal Document and present key findings to manager and team members
Serve as Empower SME Serve as a primary contact person for Title and Appraisal Vendors as it relates to issue resolution for EEDD and Real EC setup Serve as backup contact person for altering security clearance within the loan origination system Assist Product Management and Projects and Programs team with documents requirement for small work requests
Assist with office management functions Management Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly meetings and announcements When necessary, provide on-sight technical support to all individuals within Mortgage Operations Assist the Director of Mortgage Operations in preparing necessary work space and documentation for newly hired employees Assist the Director of Mortgage Operations in addressing customer service complaints Maintain updated information on Mortgage Operations Compliance testing
10%: Adhere to all Bank policies Understand and contribute to unit's goals and organizational goals Adhere to completion deadlines of all required on-line compliance training; attend any mandatory HR-related training or division learning initiatives Adhere to all defined Bank policies on dress, attendance and security directives
