Patient Care Tech Job ID: 5379 Category: Service/Support/Trade Facility: St. Catherine Hospital Department: Acute Rehab Schedule: Full-time Shift: Nights Hours: every other w/e & rotating holidays Bi-weekly Hrs: 80 Job Details: Performs various designated patient care activities in accordance with Hospital policy and Emergency Department standards. Performs phlebotomy tasks, EKG, and orthopedic procedures. Education/Experience: High school diploma required. Medical Assistant Certification, Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Phlebotomist or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist from an accredited program preferred. Prior PCA or PCT experience (6 months minimum) acceptable. Required to complete hospital's phlebotomy training and EKG training within six (6) months of employment. Annually demonstrates competency in arrhythmia recognition, phlebotomy and orthopedic procedures.
