Summary:
The Project Manager/Process Engineer will facilitate continuous improvement activities aligned to key strategies in focused areas of responsibility. Process design/redesign initiatives will meet both customer and relevant regulatory requirements. This position fulfills delivery of project deliverables for process projects within Quality, including Lean initiatives and Belt Harmonization. In addition, this position is responsible for the Belt program curriculum and delivery as well as coaching CAPA owners and Belt candidates for certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Works on curriculum for Belt Program •Deliver training for the Belt Program (some travel involved) Coach belt candidates and CAPA owners •Manage projects for process improvement within Quality •Deliver process improvement work products to various teams
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
•Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in science or engineering
•5+ years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field which should include 1-2 years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications:
•International experience, ability to successfully work in different cultures
•Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
•Ability to successfully influence and manage efforts in a highly-matrixed organization
•Builds effective and constructive relationships
•Demonstrated business knowledge and strategic thinking
•Ability to direct the use of most process excellence tools
•Experience in relevant regulatory requirements and/or internal quality systems
•Understands value streams and processes
•Expert in the use of fact-based analyses
•Capable of managing project team
•Developing in the area of managing direct reports
•Knowledge of health care products and therapies
•Effective written and verbal communications skills
•Some willingness to take risk
•Willingness to travel up to 10%
