Amcor Rigid Plastics is currently seeking a Process Technician for their Des Plaines, IL facility.
Individual will develop machine criteria for plastic processes for Injection Blow Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding and Stretch Blow Molding as well as develop schematics and new equipments specifications. This individual will also source equipment and assess vendors for supply, develop automation tools and techniques to enhance safety, production, and protect equipment and troubleshoot and fix equipment failures due to mechanical, electrical and process interruptions.

Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma and two year technical degree, prior experience in injection molding, one-step blow molding or two-step blow molding and fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional experience in tooling, quality, continuous improvement and process development preferred.
