Product Line Manager - Circulators & Accessories
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, systems and accessories for residential, municipal and commercial applications including water, wells, HVAC systems, pressure boosters, boiler controls and fire protection.
ITT-RCW is seeking a Product Line Manager-Circulators & Accessories located in Morton Grove, IL. The individual in this role will act as the General Manager of the given product family and will establish to help the company see and act upon the needs of his/her assigned products while still retaining the organizational advantages of functional specialization and responsibility.
1. Assume guardian responsiblity for P&L. 2. Coordinate the development of sales plans, implement marketing policies and be responsbile in the growh of product line. 3. Responsbile for the detailed forecasting of units and dollars, replacement parts and spares, maintaining product line in an orderly business like manner. 4. Lead product development efforts including development of business case, target costs, sell price, product features and establishing release dates. The PLM is responsible for the products throughout their life cycle. 5. Review assigned products/product lines and recommend actions to optimize both sales and margins. 6. Timely assessment of the sales performance of new and established products and/or group of products against establihsed sales and margin targets, and where required, suggest alternate programs or actions to general management. 7. Developing training aids, product and application literature "case studies", whitepaper and other materials that will aid the representatives and sales force in promoting the product line. 8. Maintain written, verbal and personal contact with the representative and our customers to keep abrest of the market needs, our product requirments and the changes that are occurring. 9. Develop promotional materials and advertising campaign with MarComm Group. 10. Perform Kaizen and member of cross-functional teams to improve or develop processes within the plant. 11. Travel with Sales personnel, training, supporting and developing key relationships that help grow and drive sales to meet overall objectives.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Engineering and three years experience in the appropriate technical/marketing field with supervisory experience.
Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, HVAC and Plumbing market experience
