Job Description Summary: The Suprane Product Manager will lead/manage all aspects of the Suprane brand including strategy development, promotional tactical development and implementation, competitive and market analysis and Marketing program compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
•Work with the Suprane Marketing team to develop the annual Suprane Marketing Powerhouse Marketing Plan. •Responsibility as the primary commercial representative during Ad/Prom review of Marketing and Sales materials and programs •Manage outside vendors in the development of Marketing and Sales programs and promotional materials •Present Suprane commercial update to Senior Management monthly •Work with Marketing team to develop annual operating plan and financial forecast submissions for Suprane •Manage annual brand operating budgets of ~$4.8M •Maintain and develop close business relationships with key anesthesia thought leaders and customers •Perform and present detailed sales, market and product specific analytics that lead to key brand decisions •Manage all brand activities at local, regional and national conventions •Work closely with Sales Training to identify training needs and provide necessary training input for Marketing created promotional tools •Work closely with Marketing Communications to ensure all programs are within Baxter compliance guidelines •Identify market research needs and assist in the development of market research surveys to gain information with which to assess product and market trends. •Provide supervision to the Associate Product Manager
Job Requirements Qualifications.
•Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans •Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills •Excellent business/commercial acumen •Proven ability to understand, track, analyze and leverage customer and marketplace insights into building effective marketing strategies and business plans •Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders •Travel will be required 15-20% of the time Education and/or Experience.
•2-5 years of successful pharmaceutical product brand management experience •Bachelors degree required •Experience in hospital based Marketing or Sales preferred •MBA preferred
