Job Description
The Transderm Scop Product Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of brand strategy, marketing mix and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for a brand within the U.S. Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) market in the short and long term.
•Manages the development of the Marketing Powerhouse Brand Plan to ensure focused brand strategy and appropriate tactical mix - balancing return on investment and impact to brand
•Work closely with NDA holding organization to manage Transderm Scop product supply into the hospital PONV market
•Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies.
•Drives brand value and establishes a high level of product clinical differentiation through promotional tactics, KOL development, internal communications and education
•Manage Transderm Scop Operating Budget
•Responsibility as the primary commercial representative during Ad/Prom review of Marketing and Sales materials and programs
•Perform and present detailed sales, market and product specific analytics that lead to key brand decisions
•Present Tranderm Scop commmerical update to Senior Management monthly
•Provides strategic direction to multiple advertising agencies to ensure on target development of Marketing and Sales programs and promotional materials
•Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly unit and dollar sales forecasts for senior management
•Work closely with team members in marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, regulatory, clinical affairs, corporate accounts, manufacturing, trade relations and executive management to ensure alignment on brand strategy
•Manage all brand activities at local, regional and national conventions
Job Requirements
•Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans
•Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills
•Excellent business/commercial acumen
•Proven ability to understand, track, analyze and leverage customer and marketplace insights into building effective marketing strategies and business plans
•Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders
•Travel will be required 15-20% of the time Education: Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree a plus. Some science related undergraduate work. 3-5 years marketing experience with 1-2 years as an Associate Product Manager in the pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry is required.
