To answer to the development and growth of one of our new global business units active in product security, we are looking for a Senior IT Service Engineer, based near Chicago in Carol Stream, IL.
In our specific markets and projects, this position will:
· Provide second level support for technical projects in North America and third level support for world-wide technical projects as part of a 24/7 IT Architecture Support rotation with colleagues in based in Switzerland and Asia · Manage IT Architecture Support team based in the U.S. and liaise with the IT Architecture team based in Switzerland · Deploy project client components based in multiple states and countries in North America · Contribute to the design, planning and execution of projects worldwide · Provide technical support for Database/OS and Application Server
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
· Must have a minimum of in IT Engineering or related field or equivalent · 5+ years Customer Support Account Management experience
· Proven experience of management of IT Projects for key profile customers · Previous execution of Disaster Recovery Planning and Business Continuity strategies · Contribution to security certification process such as SAS70
· Technical Competencies with:
Database: Oracle Application Server: JBoss J2EE or equivalent OS: LINUX RedHat & backup tools Monitoring: Nagios or equivalent Network: Routing, Switching, Firewall, Security tools · Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with a specialist, high performing and multi-cultural team · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Ability to lift, carry and move all components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals and other ancillary equipment · Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
