GENERAL DUTIES: · Under the supervision of a physical therapist, performs occupational therapy treatments and provides exercise instruction for assigned patients. · Under supervision administer such treatments as exercise, gait training, message, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs, Biodex and E-stim. · Assists in the fitting of and evaluation of prosthetic and orthotic devices and may recommend adjustments to prothetist and orthotist. · Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
REQUIRED:
· 1+ years of adult PTA experience · Illinois State Certified Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing · CPR Certification · Excellent customer service and communication skills
