The Senior Finance Manager - Aon Hewitt Financial Planning & Analysis position will report to the Global Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and be responsible for leading the monthly close, quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes for the Aon Hewitt portfolio. This position will also partner with business and functional leadership on long range/strategic planning and projects.
Functional responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Development, coordination, and optimization of global quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes * Lead analytical evaluation of forecasts and plans to assess overall Aon Hewitt portfolio risks and opportunities to financial commitments * Work with Aon Hewitt leadership to ensure proper and timely communication of financial expectations throughout the year * Serve as a key liason between AH finance and Aon Corporate FP&A * Serve as a key contact for other Aon Corporate functions (e.g. Treasury, Tax) and provide support as necessary * Lead annual operating plan target modeling/setting and analysis * Lead consolidated long range/strategic planning modeling and analysis * Own Aon Hewitt Unallocated cost budgets including support to business and functional leadership * Partner with Aon Hewitt Shared Services finance team and Aon Corporate FP&A to optimize and build transparency on Shared Service costs through enhanced forecasting and planning * Lead and/or support special projects (e.g. process and tools optimization, M&A) * Manage a team of 2 senior financial analystsQualificationsSuccessful candidate will have strong analytical skills, strong deadline orientation, be a highly effective communicator and have the ability to interact and influence with senior business leaders, be able to successfully balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently to drive change, and be able to quickly adapt to change. * 8 years of professional work experience * 2 years FP&A experience required * MBA and CPA Preferred * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex and ambiguous business/financial issues * Ability to conduct fact-based analysis to drive recommendations in the form of high-quality communications * Ability to manage the day to day responsibilities with a process improvement orientation * Executive presence, natural leadership skills and a high potential curve * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal All positions require an applicant who has accepted an offer to undergo a background check.
