Senior Mobile Strategist - Marquee Agency
ROLE
Our client is a leading digital media agency and seeks a Regional Mobile Director to be the client-facing strategic lead on commissioned, retained, and project-based work for the agency. This role collaborates with practice team members to produce mobile best practices, processes, and a robust go-to-market strategy. The Regional Mobile Director is expected to manage partner relationships, contribute to new business efforts and encourage mobile adoption across client teams. Most importantly, this role will be a mobile strategy and innovation consultant on all projects.
responsibilities
Develop and present mobile communications plans to current and prospective clients and ensure that projects deliver on brand positioning and objectives.
Lead mobile integration within overall agency services and manage internal media teams in the development and execution of effective plans for clients.
Create and present mobile credentials, formalize workflow, and drafting customized case studies.
Manage internal mobile team to implement mobile tactics and campaigns.
Develop and lead measurement and metrics plans, key performance indicators, campaign optimization, ROI, and more as needed.
Provide clients/partners with scope of work, project schedule (timeline, guideline, creative specs, etc), best practices and general guidance.
Raise visibility of the agency's credentials on mobile both internally and externally.
Be a voice to the public and speak on conference panels.
REQUIRED SKILLS
BA/BS from accredited school, MBA preferred
Expert in the mobile space, including platforms, marketing strategy, vendors, and technology.
Minimum 6 years experience in digital and recent experience in mobile.
Superior knowledge of advertising, marketing, and strategic brand management.
Experience leading a team to develop and execute mobile strategies, plans, and programs for clients in myriad industries.
Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; including strong presentation skills. A track record of participating in successful new business pitches.
Exceptional project management and performance management skills.
Budget management and resource planning experience.
Track record for managing multiple internal and external initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment and ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment.
