Job Description:
The Senior Solution Technical Architect is a key member of the presales bid and proposal team supporting ACS new business pursuits. Responsibilities include the following.
· Work with clients and sales team to gather client requirements
· Analyze client environment and business requirements
· Develop technical solutions for Cloud based solutions that that meet client business needs
· Develop competitive pricing for technical solutions to support winning proposals
· Write clear, concise, customer friendly descriptions of technical solutions and services
· Develop and present solutions to prospective clients
· Establish an authoritative and credible technical architect presence in new business pursuits
· Present and define Xerox Cloud strategy to various level of client management team including 'C' level management
· Work directly with Strategic partners to assist in the development of solutions that are partner specific
Job Qualification and Requirements:
Successful candidates will be senior level professionals with a strong technical background and demonstrated experience with the following qualifications.
· Solid experience in computer services in technical architecture and solution design in complex computing environments
· Ability to interact with Senior IT Executives on how to use cloud for competitive advantage. Understanding of how to align Applications to various Infrastructure alternative architectures.
· Strong understanding of Applications and how they are suited for cloud computing environments
· A strong technical background in midrange Unix or Windows server environments, SAN solutions and data backup methodologies
· Experience analyzing requirements from clients and developing winning responses to clients
· Technical design experience developing high quality, reliable, scalable, cost-optimized technology solutions that involve multiple technical disciplines
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Financial Modeling expertise
· Excellent client-facing, executive level presentation skills
· The ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with clients and peer organizations
