1 Participate as a member of the systems implementation teams, collaborating with project team members, subject matter experts and system developers to fully understand system features, functionality and capability. 2 Identify end user group, evaluate current knowledge base and assess learning gaps. 3 Design and develop training materials to effectively meet system user needs, overseeing production, ensuring that training is delivered in accordance with the systems implementation schedule and that the timing of training maximizes learning effectiveness. 4 Assist in the sourcing of, and oversee vendors to ensure products and services are provided on a timely basis and within budget. 5 Coordinate translation of training materials using internal Molex contacts around the world, having designed and developed the materials to simplify the translation process. 6 Schedule and facilitate “train the trainer” sessions for the IT Coordinators around the world to provide them with the skills, knowledge and materials to effectively train end users. 7 Facilitate usability reviews with end users to obtain feedback on training effectiveness, making modifications as necessary. 8 Update existing training materials in response to system updates. 9 Assist in the maintenance of the Learning Management System and performance support systems, as well as update the training web site as necessary to ensure the training materials available are current. 10 Provide support and advice to users of the Learning Management System and training website globally. 11 Supports Molex TQM program by following approved policies and procedures. 12 Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Job Requirements : EDUCATION Required: Bachelors degree Preferred: Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, English
WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required: 2+ years experience using business/technical systems at an advanced level. Preferred: Experience in designing and developing system training materials, communicating technical information, writing procedures, etc.
SKILLS: Required: Strong SAP skills are essential, along with a high level of familiarity with HTML and use of templates, as well as proven ability to learn technical information/systems quickly The ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing is necessary, along with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members, colleagues from around the world and outside vendors. Preferred: Experience with multi-media and elearning development tools, e.g. Captivate, DreamWeaver, FrontPage, or similar.
OTHER: Willingness to travel internationally if required.
